URGENT. We look for a Ph.D. student with:

- An M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Telecom Engineering and good marks

- AND *some publications* in the area of security, privacy and/or cryptography which allow an objective assessment of the candidate\'s value as a researcher.

We offer a 4-year Ph. D. scholarship in a leading group, with an international atmosphere and generous funding for presenting papers at conferences. Deadline for application: *Feb. 17*, 2012. Date for starting work: September 2012.

The Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) is located in Tarragona, a historic and pleasant medium-sized city 90 km. south of Barcelona, on the Mediterranean coast. Within URV, the UNESCO Chair in Data Privacy and the CRISES group gather a team of 30+ researchers working on privacy, security and cryptography.
