On-campus accommodations

Reasonably priced accommodations are available in the university residence halls for conference attendees and their registered guests. Attendees can make reservations for on-campus accommodations through conference registration. Note that children under the age of 13 can not stay in the dormitories, so those bringing younger children will need to make separate arrangements in one of the nearby hotels.

For attendees staying on campus, free shuttle bus service is available between the residence halls and the airport. In addition, parking is also available at no cost to attendees who reside on campus, and a permit can be requested upon arrival.

Hotel information

Attendees who choose to stay off campus are responsible for making their own reservations. Early reservations are advised, since August is a popular season in Santa Barbara.

Blocks of rooms will be reserved for Crypto 2012 in the Pacifica Suites, Holiday Inn, Best Western South Coast Inn and Hyatt Santa Barbara. Note that the city of Goleta is closer to UCSB than Santa Barbara is to UCSB, but a car will be required to travel between any hotel and the campus.
