How to get there

By plane

The airport of Graz is connected via the hubs Vienna, Munich and Frankfurt by Lufthansa and partner airlines. Budget travelers might consider Ryanair or Styrian Spirit which offer connections from London Stansted or Berlin respectively. Taxis from the airport to the center of Graz are about 15-20€. Alternatively, buses connect the airport with the main station (Graz Hauptbahnhof). From there, proceed as described below.
Another option for budget travelers is to fly to Vienna and to take the train to Graz afterwards (plan 3h for that). Trains between Graz and Vienna operate on an hourly basis. Timetables can be found here.

By train

Leave the train at Graz main station (Graz Hauptbahnhof). Use any of the following tram lines: #6 (only one direction), line #7(towards St. Leonhard/LKH), line #3 (towards Krenngasse) or line #1 (towards Mariatrost) and exit at "Südtirolerplatz/Kunsthaus". From there it is a very short walk to the conference location. Ticket prices: 1h for 1,70€, 24h for 3,50€. Alternatively, Taxis offer their services at the main station as well.

By car

Highways A2 and A9 have several exits for Graz, a high level road-map is here. A city map can be found here.
