Travel Information

Getting to Amsterdam

Schiphol airport is very close to Amsterdam centre. There are trains day and night, seven times an hour through the day, hourly in the dead of night, and which take about 15-20 minutes.

Please see CWI's Internet Guide to Amsterdam by Steven Pemberton for lots of great information.

Getting to the Venue

The conference will take place at De Balie. It is located near Leidseplein in the city center and easily accessible via public transport.

Getting to the Reception

The reception will take place at Hotel Amsterdam American. It is located near Leidseplein, just around the corner of the main venue De Balie.

Getting to the Conference Diner

The conference diner will take place at Restaurant I Dock. To get there from the venue De Balie, take tram 1, 2 or 5 from 'Leidseplein' to Amsterdam Central Station. From there it is a short walk, or you can take bus 48 from Central Station to stop 'Westerdoksdijk'.
