Eurocrypt is a leading scientific conference for research in cryptology. Eurocrypt 2009 will take place in Cologne (German spelling: Köln) from April 26-30, 2009. It is a conference of the International Association for Cryptologic Research (IACR). The local organizer is the Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security of the Ruhr-University Bochum.

A limited number of stipends are available to those unable to obtain funding to attend the conference. Students whose papers are accepted and who will present the paper themselves are encouraged to apply if such assistance is needed. Requests for stipends should be addressed to the general chair.
