As PKI Officer you are responsible for the proper operation of the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) in Switzerland. This includes the receipt and validation of foreign certificates for reading/validating biometric data from machine readable travel documents, the distribution of the Swiss certificates abroad according to the guidelines, checking the conformity of the electronic data of Swiss passports with international standards and specifications, ongoing training in the areas of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), electronic ID cards and digital signatures as well as the representation of our State\\\'s interests in international working groups (ICAO, ISO and EU. With your expertise, you also support the federal authorities for new projects.

For this challenging job, we are looking for a reliable and flexible personality. You have a university degree in computer science or mathematics as well as experience and training in the areas of PKI, RFID, encryption algorithms and relevants ISO standards, ICAO guidelines and EU requirements. Editorial skills, good communication and organizational skills and interdisciplinary thinking stand you out. We require a good knowledge of at least two Swiss official languages (work documents are mainly written in German) and English.
