Villanova University is a private research university located in Radnor Township, a suburb northwest of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. U.S. News & World Report ranks Villanova as tied for the 49th best National University in the U.S. for 2019.

Research area. Post-Quantum Cryptography, hardware security (hardware obfuscation/fault detection)

Qualification. Preferred to have research experience in the area of VLSI design, cryptography, and machine learning.

Additional brief introduction. Dr. Jiafeng Xie is now an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Villanova University. His research interests include cryptographic engineering, hardware security, and VLSI digital design for deep neural systems. He has served as TPC member for multiple reputed conferences such as ICCD, ISVLSI etc. He is also currently serving the Associate Editor for Microelectronics Journal (Elsevier) and IEEE Access.
