Reasonably priced accommodations are available in the university residence halls for conference attendees and their registered guests. Attendees will be able to make reservations for on-campus accommodations through UCSB on-campus housing. Note that children under the age of 13 cannot stay in the dormitories, so those bringing younger children will need to make separate arrangements in one of the nearby hotels.
For attendees staying on campus, free shuttle bus service is available between the residence halls and the airport. In addition, parking is also available at no cost to attendees who reside on campus. A permit can be requested upon arrival.
For those who choose not to stay in the residence halls, the following is a list of hotels that have provided room blocks for Crypto. Those who choose to stay off-campus are responsible for making their own reservations. Early reservations are advised since August is a popular season in Santa Barbara.
NEW FOR 2017: The Club & Guest House at UC Santa Barbara is now open! A block of rooms have been reserved for Crypto at a reduced rate (listed below). Please note that there are no additional room fees associated with these rates. Parking can be purchased when you check-in for $8/day (Mon-Fri) and $4/day (Sat-Sun). Specific instructions listed below on how to make your reservation.
Blocks of rooms will be reserved for Crypto in Pacifica Suites, and the Best Western South Coast Inn. Note that a car will be required to travel between any hotel and the campus. All prices are subject to change and do not include a 10-12% tax; prices should be confirmed by calling the hotels directly.

Three minutes from the University and newly renovated. The rooms have either 1 king or 2 queen beds all non-smoking. Included in the price of the room is a hot breakfast buffet served daily: 6:30am to 9:30am Monday through Friday 7:00am to 10:00am on Saturday and Sunday. There is a complimentary shuttle service starting at 7:30am and ending at 10:00pm, leaving the hotel every half hour upon request, within a 3 mile radius of the hotel (e.g. UCSB, Goleta train station, SB airport).
