Rump Session

As usual, there will be a rump session at Asiacrypt 2004. The rump session is intended to be an informal session in which participants give short presentations on recent results, work in progress, and other topics of interest to the crypto community. Presentations that are not purely technical in nature are also possible.

Those wishing to give a talk at the rump session must submit a short abstract, no more than two pages long, according to one of the following procedures:

Electronic submission: Send email to both Pil Joong Lee and Moti Yung before 9AM GMT Saturday, December 4 with your submission in ACSII text. (That is, your submission should be included directly in your submission in ASCII text, and not as an attachment to your message)

Hardcopy submission at conference: Hand the submission to the program chair Pil Joong Lee or the rump session chair Moti Yung at the conference before 6 PM on Monday, December 6.

Submissions should consist of:

  • Title
  • Speaker name and affiliation (optionally including other authors)
  • Requested amount of time for the presentation, up to 6 minutes.
  • Abstract of one or more paragraphs, but definitely no more than two pages.

Depending on the submissions they receive, the chairs will select a program for the session.

Check this page later for more information about the rump session.
