Cultural visit: Monastery of Pedralbes

At only 10 minutes walking from the conference venue you can find the Monastery of Pedralbes, founded in 1327, which it is one of the best exponents of Catalan Gothic. The ensemble consists of the church and the monastery, which is built around the spacious three-storey cloister, which is encircled by the main rooms: the Dormitory, the Refectory, the Chapterhouse, the Abbey, and the day cells.

The monastery conserves a variety of collections which consist of paintings, pottery, furniture, gold and silver works, liturgical ornaments, fabric, paper, and parchment.

You can read more about the museum-monastery at the official webpage.
