Transport

From Narita Airport

By Train

The express train JR Narita Express (NEX) departs from Narita Airport several times an hour for Yokohama station. The trip requires about 1.5 hours, and the one-way fare is 3,980 Yen. At Yokohama Station, you can transfer to the JR Negishi Line for Sakuragi-cho Station (one stop, fair is included in the NEX fare), or you can transfer to the Minatomirai 21 (MM21) Line for Minato Mirai Station (two stops, 180 Yen).

By limousine bus

Six limousine buses are scheduled each day from Narita airport directly to the Intercontinental Hotel (Conference site). If the schedule is inconvenient, buses to YCAT (Yokohama City Air Terminal) leave every 20 to 30 minutes. The bus trip takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the traffic conditions. YCAT is located next to Yokohama Station. From YCAT, you can take the MM21 Line to Minato Mirai Station or take the JR Lines to Sakuragi-cho Station, depending on your hotel. A taxi from YCAT to the MM21 district will cost about 1,000 Yen.

From Haneda Airport (Big Bird)

By Train

It takes about 30 minutes from the airport to Yokohama station by the Keikyu Line (470 Yen). Most of the trains are not direct, so it is recommended that you use a limousine bus.

By limousine bus

The bus takes about 30 minutes to reach YCAT, and costs 680 Yen. From Yokohama Station, take the MM21 Line or the JR Negishi Line as described above.
