Security of Identification Products: How to Manage

The use of identification products in today's world is continuously growing ranging from smart cards for high end to tags & labels for low end security applications. As an overall tendency it can be observed that security requirements on products are continuously increasing even in the low end security market. At the same time this continuous change in requirements gives a strong challenge to the development of products since it creates a "moving specification". The presentation will give an overview on the various elements to be taken into account for security designs outlining how to successfully manage the development of products in this area.
