CRYPTO 2005

Rump Session

IACR logo

As usual, there will be a rump session at Crypto 2005, on Tuesday August 16, from 19:30. The rump session is intended to be an informal session in which participants give short and entertaining presentations on recent results, work in progress, and other topics of interest to the crypto community. Presentations that are not purely technical in nature are also possible and encouraged, provided that they are fun!

Rump Session Webcast

The Rump Session Webcast happened Tuesday August 16th at 7:30pm Pacific Daylight Time. We are working to get the movie and the presentations online. Please watch this space for more information. Questions or problems here.

Rump Program, Presentations and Videos

The rump program has been completed and is now available pdf and html. The available presentations and videos are here.

Rump Paper Submissions (now closed)

Those wishing to give a talk at the rump session should click here before 11AM GMT Saturday, August 13. After two obvious changes on the email address, this will send an email to the rump session chair Phong Nguyen, with the topic [rump] and an appropriate form.

Your submission should be included directly in your message as ASCII text, and not as an attachment to your message. Any other format will be ignored. Submissions should include a short abstract (no more than two pages long), the names of authors, and a requested amount of time for the presentation, up to seven minutes. Depending on the submissions received, the rump session chair will select a program for the session.
